A touch of magic….

Driving to the hospital on a chilly morning is my “me time”. The 5 to 6 minute drive from home to the hospital (5.5 km away, but there is no traffic before 7 am on a wintry morning), & I have the universe giving me ideas, inputs, or sometimes me exploring my inner self ( or as a fugitive charlatan in a place called Kailaasa would’ve said “me looking at me to help me see me a better me”).

This morning the Bose started with a touch of Magic: amazingly soft notes of piano at the introduction gave me an emotional boost. A Dopamine surge of unimaginable proportions. https://youtu.be/0T1J8JuTtR8

I reached the hospital car park still floating in the notes…. I don’t know if I can even remotely consider myself a knight, but my car does have a silver sheen so I guess the metaphor will hold.

Lady
I’m your knight in shining armor and I love you
You have made me what I am, and
I am yours

My love
There’s so many ways I want to say I love you
Let me hold you in my arms forever more

You have gone and made me such a fool
And I’m so lost in your love
And oh, we belong together
Won’t you believe in my song?

Lady
For so many years
I thought I’d never find you
You have come into my life and
Made me whole

Forever
Let me wake to see you each and every morning
Let me hear you whisper softly
In my ear

And in my eyes (In my eyes)
I see no one else but you (I see no one else but you)
There’s no other love like our love
And, oh, girl I’ll always want you near me
I’ve waited for you for so long

Lady
Your love’s the only love I need
Oh, and beside me is where
I want you to be (I want you to be)
‘Cause, my love
There’s somethin’ I want you to know
You’re the love of my life

You’re my lady…..

The magic doesn’t diminish one little bit in a live concert version of the immortal song that I’m hooked on for the last 4, 5 decades… Amazing vocal wizardry, really. https://youtu.be/ZYRfUoR9Q4Y

On this happy note let me wish a long and happy life to the lady….

Stay safe, folks, stay healthy and happy. Take care in the winter…
