The broken earthen pot looked desolate amidst the ashes of what must have been a very modest abode. Wonder what tragedy befell the dwelling and the vegetation that surrounded it. What drama did it see, what tales of human lives was it witness to, what was the number of parched throats that it slaked thirst with its cold water…..

An intriguing conundrum that will never be answered.
