One of the wonderful side effects of a set of unseasonal showers is the greening of the countryside. What was a uniformly depressing brown has got miraculously transformed to very pleasing shades of green.
.
Going for a walk amidst the mountains I was greeted by a wonderful sight, millions of sparkling gems that had collected during the night after the thunderstorm of the evening before. The transient existence of the dewdrops to me underscores the evanescence of beauty, and of life itself. The countless beauties that adorn every leaf, every blade of grass will surely disappear with the bright sun, but will surely reemerge the following night, a reminder of the Circulus vitae.

Wonderful Aniruddha, yes this change period is one I absolutely adore in India / Pune. The current weather of cool mornings, leading to HOT afternoons with thunder and electric storms following and again cool late evenings and nights brings back memories of when I was growing up, oh and the weather then too ;-).
