The recurring phases of the moon have taught me an important lesson over the last 8 decades that I’ve seen the Earth’s soulmate do it.

Despite the many disfiguring injuries and flaws in its beauty, Selene only shares its radiant glow with the world.

Isn’t that exactly the opposite of what Humans tend to do: talk incessantly and show what ails them without even mentioning what they can give the world.

Great you came up with the earths soul mate.. But to tell u the soul mate of the Soul of the earth is the Creator Himself.. He is the better half..

Very well said, Doc. This, I felt, had been the principle (mission) of saints we hear and read about. Such an example had been Jesus. He said, (that’s what I heard from a Ramakrishna Mission monk, during my few years in a mission school/college) – come to me and I will take you to (the path of) God. When someone asked Vivekananda about his comment, he had replied that – it was true. Like, the Sun rays can’t be seen unless they meet an object and are reflected, God’s ways (similar to electromagnetic waves, present everywhere) can’t be seen/realised unless they are received by someone like Jesus for enlightening others. Jesus was one such person, like the moon, who only gave away everything including his life and asked nothing for himself in return. So, were many in our country and elsewhere.
A very good message from you Doc, in the morning.
